cayo 0 Posted July 2, 2012 This inukshuk on the shore of Vancouver's English Bay is much larger than the small top portion that appears in this image. I was trying to shoot it at sunset, but, no matter what angle I tried, when I widened the shot to show more of the inukshuk I got foreground and background clutter that spoiled the shot. So I zoomed in fairly tightly to get this shot. The gulls coming in to roost were a bonus. I'm grateful for any suggestions on other way to handle this scene. Link to comment
stemked 4 Posted July 3, 2012 I think it is a great image. However your horizon is pretty obviously tilted, easily corrected in photoshop. Link to comment
stp 6 Posted July 3, 2012 I think it's a great shot. While the horizon may look tilted, judging by the posture of the standing gull it's probably straight, and perhaps the contours of the background and distribution of light are only giving a false appearance of an angled horizon. Link to comment
