lynnthomas 0 Posted July 3, 2012 Yes I think it works well with this subject. The color highlights the texture of the petals which helps to show off how thin they seems to be. Sometimes selective coloring is too saturated but this is just enough to show off all this flower has to offer.
wood 1 Posted July 3, 2012 Thanks for your thoughtful critique. I'm am glad you prefer the undersaturated color, as do I. I have tried this approach on another of my flower shots but my initial results seem to display a distracting level of saturation in the color area. I am going to rework that one. Thanks again,
