Looks like the Gulls might conspire to grant his wish and lift him aloft, witnessed by a dissaproving audience of foreground beachcombing birds. Very well communicated shot!

Frank, The equal bands of sea, sky and sand works well with the figure and the seagulls cutting through them. I like how the figure is leaping and the way the white of the birds seems to shimmer against the water and sky. The horizon seems to be tilting to the left.

Good photo. Conventional wisdom suggests that you tilt and crop a little to straighten out the horizon. I'm not sure the foreground beach and birds improve the photo. I might try a horizontal crop.
