Nice catch!

I love the sun rays, the ominous feeling below & the brighter, more cheery feeling above. I m trying o imagine what this photo would look like if exposed longer, and while I think it would bring out some detail below, it would surely blow out the top too much. The slight slope in the plains also had me thinking it was crooked & needed to be rotated, but the base of the clouds is pretty straight. That has to be the only thing bugging me... the slope of the plains

 

 

 

Goddness me but Heather's said it all. The only thing I can add is that I think you've got the ray effect just right and the composition as well balanced as one could hope.
