I like it. I am not qualified to recommend improvements, but I like the way the motion in the wings contrasts with the body. Thank you for sharing it.

I think this is a very nice shot. I like the way movement is showed in combination with the strong lines.

Hmmmm, for the person throwing the low rates you have quite an achievement here and in your portfolio. I just wonder if you are capable to look at your photo and give yourself the true rating. If you are not then the case is lost. Or maybe this one is out of scale?

I'm not trying to be a smart aleck. What do you mean? Also, I do not rate myself as I don't think that is an honest practice... whatever I think of the photo will be colored by the fact that I took it. I prefer to let the comments of many others tell me whether it is as good as I think.

 

This photo, in my estimation, is very good FOR ME. There certainly are worse in my portfolio and I don't think there is much better yet. Is that an honest enough evaluation or am I a lost cause?

Just curious -- why 2/2? :) Maybe your input could help me take a stronger shot next time.
