Thanks Michael! I am picking up much more than photography here .. the other days it was the 'gray ghost' from Steve Shinn (on my Northern Harrier shot) and today it's 'belly flop' from you. Yes, they do this from time to time bouncing off the water surface like a 2,3 years old in water :-)

Very nice, I don't recall seeing a Skimmer pull this kind of maneuver.  Some of my landings are sort of like this so seeing a bird do it makes me feel much better :-)

Tm... With a skimmer shot? No way. LOL. Very cool shot. I'm 33, but I would be a sack of bones if I landed like this. Tm, you try first, then I'll try.... Nice shot.
