Dim in the hollow

I am surprised this phot hasn't received more comments and higher ratings.  Perhaps it is one of those that (a) must be viewed large, (b) requires a well calibrated monitor or © is best seen in a larger print on matt paper?  The tonality and mystery of the vague and  dimly lit objects is just great. 

I believe you are correct. My monitor is calibrated so you are seeing close to what I see and this photo does look much better large and on paper. I almost got halo type effects when I sized this down for the web. I really appreciate your time and well thought critique. Thanks Stephan.
