Cosmos Flow Re-worked

I like the light / dark balance and the intricate fine lines in the underside of the petals. I also think the angle of the flower accentuates the soft dreamy mood of the shot. Any news on your lens being repaired yet?

Thanks for your feedback. I have had to upgrade my lens so picked up my new Canon 17 - 85mm this morning which is a good all purpose lens.Have been practicing with it this afternoon but sun is a bit strong at the moment! Hope your enjoying the fine weather and have found many photo opportunities! Ok... I'm gunna have to start one of my slow claps for this one. So powerful and beautiful! Perfect comp. and color, with a powerful dark background. You are the queen of flowers in my book. So glad I found this. Thanks. So original. Usually, we see, or take, this shot in this position with a backlit situation. But this is excellent.

I looked in your portfolio for the original versionof this cosmos and I think the reworked version is more vibrant!

Jamie. Yes it is the Canon EFS 60mm Macro! but I like to incorporate more focus over a larger area, so strangely for me at least it doesn't have quite the flexibility of the kit lens! Need more practice! I am also trying to work with a Canon 17-85mm lens which has a Macro function but lets in more light, so will see how that goes!

it's only for small sensor, and i think those give much higher quality.  best, j
