black & white Pier

All comments and crits welcome. Wanted to emphasise the contrast of

stone and water.

I like the composition and the focus on the gritty textures of the stone pier. The low level perspective gives a well chosen view of the scene and is balanced nicely by the clouds. It may have been worth considering using a lower ISO as there appears to be some loss of definition of the water to the right, I can of course appreciate also that this may have been intentional to provide a more stark contrast between pier and water.

Thanks for looking and the comments. Alf I appreciate the crits and yes i was wanting to get the high contrast and did over expose the water and sky intentionally. Just hope it conveys my intention well enough.
