Male Amur Leopard, Erie Zoo

This was taken with Kodak E100VS rated at 200 due to the overcast

nature of the day. I wanted to get more than just a portrait ...

however, the shutter speed was probably 1 stop too short and there is

some blurring in all except the eye area. I still think it works. Any

comments? Canon A2E, 200/2.8 w/EF2X extender. Al Servo focus, spot

metering, tripod, 2.5 hours of waiting.

Good natural colors and pose. As long as eye is sharp and leopard seems happy, no problem with the blur of the body for me.

Works for me too. Not sure if the focus is off, there is movement in the face are or if it's just furry :)

Good try. Always focus on the eyes of living creatures. Your leopard eye seems fuzzy. Try to include the whole head next time.
