"Perch for Brunch"

Thanks for taking the time to view, comment/critique, rate and, for

providing me the opportunity to share!

I know, probably a bit soft in the focus, . . . but was using the TC so had

to shoot @ 1/30 sec at f/8.0 from the tripod.

Any processing recommendations would be greatly appreciated as well

as general opinions, and constructive critiques are always welcomed!

Very nice a capture Jim. It's a little fuzzy in the detail but still a very nice shot!

This is a good shot...slightly off focus, but well framed and interesting.

I'm shooting the same lens with a T2i body (which I hope to upgrade someday soon!) and just this Saturday I was able to shoot this shot

Tom, I hope you get the same amount of enjoyment out of your 100-400 that I have over the years.

That is a nice shot of the Heron in flight, and it would be nice to see the full size image. The lens is capable of some pretty sharp images. Yes, this one is a bit out of focus. I was using the 1.4X TC and of course it's all Manual focus and I'm nearing 60, so my eyes probably are'nt the best!

The other contributing factor was that I could notice movement in Live View, and I didn't have much time for this shot before he swallowed the fish,  plus shooting with an ISO of 160 required a slow shutter speed. But, we got what we got!
