The word amazing is overworked these days, but that is nevertheless the most appropriate word for this photo. The backstory would be interesting––how did you manage to be so perfectly positioned and prepared for this shot?

My strong guess is that this was taken at a game farm where animals can be pretty well controlled.  Put the mountain lion on one side a piece of meat on the other, get the photographers lined up and ready to shoot, and then let the sequence start.  The Big D game farm in Montana is famous for this.
