richard_van_kuyk1 0 Posted April 17, 2012 I would like to see this image flipped horizontaly, I read from left to right and the braking wave would stop me from leaving the picture to early. Link to comment
alpenglow 0 Posted April 17, 2012 Stunningly beautiful! The pastels complemented by the softness from the long exposure makes for the most wonderful mood. Link to comment
tomroenn 0 Posted April 18, 2012 I find the picture to be very beautiful and facinating. Th.e lack of "hard" objects in the motive is relaxing and let the mind flow away, almost hypnotizing. It's also amazing to see how brilliant nature itself combines colors to perfection. This would fit on any wall. Link to comment
color 3 Posted April 23, 2012 Very pretty and sure looks better in the larger version. Link to comment
leo burkey 0 Posted May 5, 2012 I am a big fan of your pastel images and this is another beauty. Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted May 5, 2012 Thanks for the feedback, folks. I'm glad to see that simple still has appeal. Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted May 27, 2012 This one caught my eye in part because it employs a more hard edged horizon line than much of your work which is further enforced by the deep blue of the water just below the horizon. I like the lazy graphic "Z" created by the borders of the sea, surf and sand. The mirror image of the clouds in the wet sand adds a nice bit of white to balance out the foreground. Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted May 29, 2012 Thanks Gordon. That reflection in the FG is critical, I think. Link to comment
richard_john_edwards 0 Posted June 10, 2012 Jeff, great image. I really like the lines in this image, the smooth texture and the introduction of the small rocks in the distance, very good work. Regards RichardPS good to see some more of your seascapes. Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted June 11, 2012 Thanks Richard. I should get quite a few more this month as June is normally the best time of year for earth shadow. Link to comment

jeff.grant 0 Posted June 12, 2012 Richard, it's what you get looking East on sunset which is strongest at this time of year. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth's_shadowI'd be lost without it. Link to comment
