I don't have the feeling that it is comfortable, but I have never sit on such a bike. I like this picture of the older man. I hope he will become with biking very old. Best regards.

Hi Ruud,

Now that looks like fun. I could carry several lens and cameras to places, too.

Nice action shot.

Best regards,  Mike

Good capture in your trademark B/W of this man's concentrated look.Somehow, one gets the impression that this requires more attention than the traditional bike configuration and your photo conveys this.Bravo for an excellent image!

Can't help but smile, Ruud !  This chap seems totally engrossed in what he is doing,  he seems to be at ease in doing so.  As usual, very well presented and crisp.

Well done

Jim

All kinds of stuff may be seen on your city's streets Ruud! This guy is crazy, it's very uncomfortable and even dangerous and I see such a thing first time in my life!

Best regards!

A great image Ruud. I imagine that this man is using this type of bike perhaps because he has to. I notice his right hand is in his pocket, and the right shoe has a 'guard' on the pedal, perhaps to keep his 'foot in place'. If because of a 'stroke' or other physical impediment, I salute his 'Spirit'.

He certainly has more 'get up and go' than many of us.

Thankyou for sharing Ruud.

Warm regards, Gail

Another one of your many finds. Impeccable black and white and a great bike. Good composition and use of light. The message is clear, whatever your age one can do anything. Thank you for sharing! Best regards,

Herman

Very nice street shot.I don't think he is comfortable as it seems he has got some problem in his foot(may be I am wrong).

My best regards.

You will have seen my earlier comment.  Kallol's comment is intriguing.  This young man - of approximately just a few years older than me  ;-) has a V shaped contraption on his right foot.  Presumably it has to do with the propulsion of his device !?  Would you know what this is ?  It is quite conceivable that you did not see it when you were composing and shooting. Nevertheless, would be interesting to know !

Best regards

Jim

many thanks for your nice comments and compliments!

Kallol and Jim: suddenly this biker appeared.. then I shot...

A moment later he was disappeared...

Perhaps I'll see him again in town here en I'll ask him about his right foot...

With best regards / hartelijke groeten,

Ruud.
