Jim, your incorporation of the barbed wire strands into the agricultural landscape is very effective.  We normally go to some effort to stear clear of fences, and power lines, but you using the fence in this image has given it a further strong dimension that gells with the whole.  The strands in the sky are especially prominent and contrast well with the clouds.

I love this image!

I too really like this photograph. By your title, there even seems to be an implication that even the sky is now private with the clouds trapped between the layers of the barbed wire. My only criticsm I suppose is that I would have shot/framed/printed (pick one) in landscape format over portrait. Running the image vertically reminds me of those diagrams that show the various layers of the eath...or atmosphere, but running horizontally we would get a different sense that the fence imposes on the image. Very nice.

I agree with you David and I actually tried that and have a few pics horizontal. I only had a 28mm lens and in the horizontal photo I lost the feathery clouds at the top and I did not like it as much, if I only had a 18mm that day it would have worked out better.
