'Luxury's Lap'

A lucky man leans back, head on her lap, legs crossed, feet up, a girl

leans over to kiss him and another looks on. He certainly looks to be

in luxury's lap, and it doesn't look like he's doing any complaining.

I like the sense of fun in this street image, John. You can almost hear the woman on the left giving her friends a hard time.

Yes, it's a Very Fun Image!

I wondered if perhaps the woman, left wasn't a little jealous, or perhaps  envious -- maybe wishing she had her own man to kiss, if not this partiicular man.

Those in the US and the rest of the West had best think twice if they think they have life better; this sort of occuracne (public display of affection---PDA) is common in Ukraine, and was also in Russia when I lived there, but especially so in Ukraine.

Youths are expect to get married at 21 or so with tremendous pressure from mothers to have grandkids by age 22, so the rush is on to find a mate, almost like when I was a youth and all the great women were married when I was age 25, with very few exceptions.

I was simply born too early, I sometimes think, but then again, I have some values that were well formed in the Eisenhower years, yet at the same time, I spent much of yesterday with two women (strangers to that day) of these women's age or slightly older, and we had a terrific time.

They chose to spend time with me.

I do NOT chase women at all, ever, and stopped long, long ago. 

I just do not. 

The secret is women do the choosing (unless you're a Frank  Sinatra, a basketball star with their millions, or Justin Bieber), and chasing them just turns off most women. 

Women do the choosing in the end, in any case, and it's mostly useless to fight it. 

The wonderful part of it is, one can be 'found' by women one would never think of approaching -- my last wife looked like Angelina Jolie or better (she go brain cancer), she just sat down with me one day and never got up!

I never understood her attraction to me entirely, but it was genuine and developed into true love, mutual, and it's happened once again.  [part of it was I'm a one woman man, a rarity, especially in Russia/Ukraine]

Males only make themselves available.

Women do the rest.
