stp 6 Posted March 23, 2012 This is nicely composed for a square format; I'd also consider 4x5 with the crop coming off the top. This conveys the sense that one must get the tent set up without delay. Link to comment
BelaMolnar 2 Posted March 24, 2012 I like the impressive sky, it is a dramatic composition. I like it as is, but as Stephen suggested crop, also nice. The only question, if it is a multi row panorama shot? The foreground field has a typical panorama, stitching curve. Link to comment
stp 6 Posted March 24, 2012 I also wondered about that curve, but I concluded it was just a natural bend in the river -- it seems too sharp to be a stitching curve, but I could be wrong (and it wouldn't be the first time!). Link to comment
bobby_ho 0 Posted March 24, 2012 Thank you very much for your comments and suggestions. I think both of you are correct: it is a 'panoramic' shot contains of three (maybe four?) vertical frames; and the foreground curve is the natural bend of the river. Since the rotation angle is less than 90 degrees (I think), the geometric distortion shouldn't be significant. Link to comment
