Pierre Dumas 309 Posted March 22, 2012 Looks like a professional studio picture! Only the pose doesn't show the grace of the model properly, fully!Best regards Heather!PDE Link to comment
jerrymat 5 Posted March 23, 2012 Heather, I like this. It has an element of humor and since it is concealing of both the upper anatomy and the facial identity of the model it suggests a style I hope you continue to investigate. I think if the lips were in an impish smile it would be even better. The shadows on the wall are imitative of the pose, repeating it like a theme. If you had a narrower light source, the shadows would be even sharper in outline. The fact that there is enough light to show the texture of the dark gloves is good, but the hat has lost texture due to insufficient light - an area you might like to explore in your lighting. Also, I find it strange that the fingers of the glove on her right hand are suddenly thrown into shadow with a very sharp cutoff.Since picture on P.N are shown against a white background you might want to think of putting a frame around any that have backgrounds so light that they blend into the endless space beyond.Regards,Jerry Matchett Link to comment
