My buddy Ginger

A few weeks ago I took some self portraits trying to incorporate that stick light on my hand. I toyed around with the idea and ended up with this. A composite if some desert shots I took two years ago when trying to practice HDR and my self portrait.

Some images make you feel things and they are usually the ones that are most successful. This is one of those iimages that I find myself smiling at. I think probably in response to your little buddy who is smiling at me and contrasting with your comparitively slight frown and concerned look. Another apsect of this image worth noting I think is it's originality, which it has to be said is no easy goal to achieve these days.
