Beautiful picture. In some ways it reminds me of photos from World War II. In Holland the Nazi's deported many Jewih people, including a lot of children, to extermination camps. If I see this girl she could be "Anna Frank" of Amsterdam.

This just stands out to me as a really good portrait, very well done. This evokes emotion and wonder....one asks what happened to this little girl? No doubt she is just fine but the way you have processed this and the simple straight forwardness of it, it reminds me of the turn of the century....(Not this last one).
