Track to Treceiriog

I like the composition and the light, but the clouds are a bit overdone for my taste. Take it with a grain of salt: I like the "unnoticeable" HDR's best.

I like the composition, the two gates to the sides and the muddy track down the centre leading to the tree and village beyond. The foreground, hedgerow and close detail capture the essence of the scene very well, but the sky is a bit surreal. Of course it is all subjective, what I tend to do with HDR's these days is process one of the RAW files normally, exposed purposely with the sky in mind. then use that particular image as a top layer in photoshop and simply erase to reveal the required HDR components, leaving a natural sky. But as I say it's all a matter of taste. Very well done John!

I do agree about the sky, it is  over cooked. I'll take your advice next time Alf. Thanks for comments.

The sky is a matter of taste, but the overall scene is gorgeous. The little hamlet resting in the valley as our eye leads us down the path, is like a crock of gold at the end of the rainbow!!  A grand vista which should be used by the WTB!! ..Regards
