John Peri 1,032 Posted March 18, 2012 Good one, worthy of any surrealistic artist's palette. Funny, dead wood again makes me think of the French elections, plus all the candidates are trying to screw us ! Link to comment
steveshinn 0 Posted March 18, 2012 A fine image. My first thought on a title; This planet got screwed! Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted March 20, 2012 Excellent creative composition dear Pierre! You never fail to amaze and 'stump' (for just a moment) as to the 'many meanings' your images can evoke. I have thought long on this one. For me, it is a 'delicate' harmony at best. As in life, even in the best of times, one must be very careful of the 'dangers' that can cause us to 'collide' if our timing is not 'spot on'. We must be diligant and on guard. 'Harmony' is translated in so many ways depending on our circumstances.Thought provoking and exceptional as always!Sincere regards, Gail Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted March 21, 2012 Very impressive - The shadows are equally impressive in this creation. You are the master of this genre. Link to comment
matthijs 0 Posted March 23, 2012 Not sure why but I like this one. My guess is that's because of the obviousness of the fantasy and the interaction between the industrial and the natural. The beautiful sky and the distant mountains help. I wonder if it would be better if the tree was different in stead of repeated. All the best, Matthijs. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 285 Posted March 23, 2012 Matthijs, you are right about everything, the tree is as a matter of fact just a piece of a dried branch long 25cm and believe it or not the screws are different shots, three different shots used for just a screw, nonsense!PDE Link to comment
ianward 0 Posted March 25, 2012 This has a great balance to it. The idea is very original and the wood and the srews go well together on opposing diagonals. Top job my friend. Link to comment
Dana C Doherty 400 Posted March 28, 2012 Did Salvador Dali work as your intern? An interesting and bleak imaginatory landscape where steel and dead wood survived. The man made screws might represent "progress" as it marches through the earth's limited resources represented by the dead trees. Excellent!Saludos,Dana Link to comment
w-j-li 0 Posted April 4, 2012 Love this very much. Just wonder where you have got all those ideas. Great. Best Regards, Link to comment
BelaMolnar 2 Posted June 19, 2012 The whole world is screwed up. Screwed, from those 1 percent controlling us. So many people agree with you. I thought, I my never able to get to the bottom of this page, to comment. This pice of three, very familiar to me. I think, I have seen all ready several time. Have a good time my friend.
