elportebonheur 0 Posted March 7, 2012 A visual craft of highlights and shadows.Beautiful, subtle, and a proof that technical sharpness in perfection isn't always the key. ( I know it's done on purpose) Compliments Chuck, one of your very best imho. Link to comment
color 3 Posted March 8, 2012 Thanks El. I almost didn't use the original of this because of the blurriness. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted March 9, 2012 I like this, Chuck. The odd contrast and billowing skirt make her look like she's floating up the stairs. Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted March 9, 2012 I think it's excellent. The lack of sharpness is a brilliant addition to the whole image. I have been known to bang on about sharpness in the past. This is a superb example of it not being necessary. Had this been sharp, we would have had a fairly mundane shot but, as it is, we have an excellent one. Link to comment
color 3 Posted March 9, 2012 Jeff, Jack,Thanks for your comments. I took this in low light and couldn't tell it was out of focus, but I'm glad it was. There's a bit of Photoshopping here: I gave her a short haircut, got rid of her tiara, added some floor, and more. I'm happy with it. Link to comment
