This photos was taken in colour with the Coolpix 4500, then converted to black and white in Photoshop 7.0. I played around with the curves to get the effect I wanted. I have a feeling I could do better if I tried again now, this was some time ago. I've recently become quite interested in black and white photography, and I'm getting into developing my own film. I suppose photos of cats are a bit cliche, but I've always liked this one.

Here's my first submission. It's a fairly old photo (well, to me,

anyway!) of a cat of mine when she was a kitten. Sort of an abstract,

I suppose. I thought I might put up a couple of old photos before I

start on the new stuff.
