bridget_hunt 0 Posted June 22, 2003 Wow, I think the freeze is perfect. What a great capture. Link to comment
tomm 0 Posted June 22, 2003 Great with all positive feedback on this one. No flash was used but direct evening sunlight from low angle to my left made the freeze possible. Distance to subject approx 3 meter and the bird filled 50% of the frame. The EOS 1D has 1.3x and not 1.5x sensor. Link to comment
stevemaller 0 Posted June 22, 2003 Henri Cartier Bresson would be proud. This is a great example of a talented photographer creating a perfect moment by being respectful of his environment and his subject, and being technically prepared. Mazel tov...I'm insanely jealous. :-) Link to comment
stacey_waselovich 0 Posted July 29, 2003 It's not often that you see a photograph of a bird in flight with it's wings bent - usually we see them with wings outstretched. The bent wings make it very interesting - it makes the duck look very relaxed. Link to comment
mike_hodson 0 Posted September 21, 2004 This shot is superb. My Grandfather has published a book filled with his water foul (and other) photos and this shot rivals them all. http://www.calwaterfowl.org/cowan_book.htm Link to comment
