I know about the difficulties to photograph snow and ice in an adequate way. Imho you have done this here very well. I especially love your composition as the prolongations of the ice meet in the lower right corner.

Lake Huron's icy shoreline is battered by ice-filled waves. In the lower right,

two large fallen chunks help to speed up the erosion, making it very

dangerous to venture close to the unstable cliff edge. Rather than

"freezing" the ice chunks and waves with a fast shutter speed, I chose 1/2

second to create movement. To even out the exposure I hand-held a

neutral density grad on an angle and moved it during the exposure to lessen

the grad line. Thanks for looking.
