I know some are in favor of no frames in submitted images, but I thought

that this image deserved one - square format, rectangular frame - just a

tryout. I am happy with it and welcome your comments.

doug,  this is very nice image,  with frame or without frame.  think it could be a wee bit lighter,  but also looks like the type of image you could sit before for hours adjusting the light levels trying to get them just right,  which you have probably done.  artistic image,  lovely work!

Roger - as always, your comments are well appreciated. 

Not sure that I wanted it any lighter, as I tried to give it some "drama" with the highlights on the flower, and when I tried lightening all over, it got muddy -  but your point is taken. Thanks.

doug,  you exceeded extremely well with the drama,  this would be a image i would find space for on our already over crowed walls. i am one that usually does not agree with borders and frames, mostly because of the way they're applied.  what you have here is just perfect.  the more i look at this image the more i like it.
