At first glance, this looks like a poorly shot, common photo. Looking closer, I see what looks like a strobe effect. Personally, I would crop out the singer - he is distracting. There is enough subject in the guitar player. The lighting effect on him would be worth the shot.

I would respectfully disagree with Jerry. This is superbly composed. The singer and the guitarist compliment each oher extremely well - especially they are both facing in. Superb job on exposure.

agree with above - the composition works because of the opposition of the guitarist and singer. crop the singer and you have an average photo.

I love this. The lighting is really cool, as is the atmosphere that this photo insinuates. The timing and composition is really great, it captures the action very well. I like the weird motion effect too.
