Its a book illustration, with a caption. "And so the three friends decided to set off and join the circus" I love the profiles against the sky, and the perceived motion of the trio. I can't help but wish that the dog was seperated, but thats an observation not a criticism. The fact that you had presence of mind to capture this, speaks volumes of your acute observation and skill as a street photographer.  Another great one!

Thank you for your thoughts on this. New Orleans does become a bit circus like this time of year as many street performers tend to converge here as the weather is generally warm and there are lots of tourists. I also wished the dog would have been more prominent in this and do have another shot where that is the case. What attracted me in this one was the triangular arrangement of the figures against the sky and their relationship to the elements on the other side of the river.

I loved New Orleans. Been meaning to visit for years, ultimately happened at very short notice last December. Unfortunately I did not remember that you are in N.O...

I like both of them.The second is more dynamic, but both has a very nice atmospher of festive with a touch of humor as well. I like the way you have placed them on the frame, with the sign of the city in the back, but for them it looks that the sky is the limit...;-)) nice as well is  the B/W choice.

Both images have a lot of charm and intensity. Presenting the photos in black and white gives them a nice timeless feel. Perfect - Compliments!

Both a great captures. Yet, I prefer the initial one (despite half hidden dog), because their heads point more to the open space - the two artists seem to have their vision in sight and are bound to follow it. On the other photo they seem to be more occupied with themselves.

great shot in many ways.. the (mutual relation) between the subjects and the (mostly but not fully) sky backround is fascinating .. congrats ( on this whole folder by the way)..

Very 'opportune' capture Tony!!! As I read the other comment and your replies, hearing it was in New Orleans made a lot of sense. I imagine there is so much to see this time of year, as many come to perform and to just see what that 'magical' city is all about. I have never been, and it still remains on my 'wish list'.
