stp 6 Posted January 23, 2012 I think this is a terrific shot. It's so effective to have nearby elements (in this case, geese) relatively clear while those in the distance are increasingly affected by the fog. Link to comment

Leonard-just-Leonard 8 Posted January 24, 2012 thanks for all the comments. the first time I saw this effect was back in 2008. this shot was 2011. this year by time I could get to the river it warmed up to -20 from -32 and the steamy, foggy effect was gone! it has to be somewhere around -30 to see this and it is soooo cool to be there.
