Try to brighten up the foreground -

I have the same trouble myself, but I think the composition is great!

The botton half is too dark. It's a complex structure and must have more shadows.

This is good picture. What strikes my eye is that sky. That shade of blue just looks a bit too artificial to be true - it's like a candy.

Even if the foreground is a bit dark, I like it that way. It gives the picture feeling of something being in shadows, out of the daylight.
