Beautiful work Maurizio and very well processed. I can't offer much in the way of feedback on how to improve this. I do think it would be interesting to see alternative versions with a faster shutter speed and not so much motion blur in the waves. I know it would be difficult to achieve but to see the waves actually running onto the path might just add a little more to what is already a very dramatic shot.

Cheers and best wishes.

The textures in the semi eroded concrete are a great introduction to the rest of the image. The exposure is particularly well handled in what can't have been an easy shot with the light on the horizon. David mentons a faster shutter speed with perhaps more emphasis on the water crashing over the path which wouldd be interesting. I wonder what a very long exposure would produce, allowing perhaps a totaly smooth transition of the water and more movement in the clouds. Just typing my thoughts as they occur. This is a great piece of work  as it is.

Sincere Compliments

Alf

Thanks you very much for appreciated comment.

Yes you are right for short time and/or longest time. You can find here a long exposure version with cold white balance http://www.flickr.com/photos/mauriziofontana/6639764353/in/photostream

and here you can find a orizontal composition with short time exposure version http://www.flickr.com/photos/mauriziofontana/6622002361/in/photostream/

I'm very difficult decide which is the best interpretation of this location!

Best regards.

Maurizio
