this is me, im not a photagrapher, please tell me what you think.

Really nice, but color doesn't help. I'd move centerline (drawn vertically through face) to one third of the way from the right edge, giving more blackness to "look" into. As far as mood goes, think of all the things rotating the image so the eyes look up might imply, then think of what looking down might imply. Right now your face is "looking" higher than your gaze, or at least the angle is different. Of course, to try these things, you'll have to get digital, and that might not be your thing. Let me also say..."you asked". If you hadn't, I'd look at this and think it was a really nice image. The things I offered might not make it better, they're just the things I'd probably try.

I like the color. But the Face seems very soft. especially since the coored areas are contrasty, the face comes out as soft. But overall, I like the composition and the colors work.

I think I would have liked it better unaltered, but that's just my taste. Nice composition.

I don't like the added color. It's too much. Focus could be a little sharper too and a polarizer would help with those reflections in your glasses. Apart from that I really like the lighting and the pose. The deep blackness of the background leads me to suspect it was Photoshopped but it is very effective and adds to the photo.
