Beautiful image Gail. It's got a nice color palate, is well composed, and I like the mix of the out of focus area outside of the panel and the focused area inside of it.

The reflected out of focus areas are a beautiful counterpoint to the colorful clarity of the flower. I don't know if it was your intent, but I also really like the "if you want it cropped" feature you added. It's very lovely either way.

I really love the reflections, and the dof is excellent. Did you use a selective blur in the processing, I only ask because it looks really effective and accentuates the stark beauty of the lotus flower.

Sincere Best Wishes for New Year

Gail, this is quite elegant and beautiful. The soft light and colors are lovely. I really like the way in which you blurred the edges to give it a frame. I have no idea how you did that, but I like it. Very well done. Thank you for sharing. :)

P.S. I know I am way beyond "late" in my response to your email; it has been difficult this year but I will write soon and update. Have a great New Year...may it be HEALTHY! All the best, Trisha

This is an amzing gorgeous image. The colors and texture are superb. It brings out the emotions of the inner solitude that we all need to deal with, regardless of how much love and understanding we have around us we always have to face our finite existance, illness and departure of love ones. You are the best at the emotional realm my friend. Warm regards and deep acceptance of your daily life for 2012 and eternety! Take good care.

Hello there jorge, good to hear from you. You sure do know me well, and this image, if you look at the way I did the 'frame' it is not just a 'frame' for me. It's opacity sort of represents my past year, 'not always sure of my path, the journey a new one and not necessarily always 'clear'. The inner image, with it's clarity, 'is the Vision of coming through on the other side with a clearer Picture of my Journey. That despite Pain and Loss, there still can be times of 'Beauty' and 'Serenity'.

Thankyou my sensitive friend for your friendship and support during one of the most difficult times in my life. My Mom will remain in my mind, just as beautiful as that Lotus Blossom. There may be times when I still don't see as clearly, but at least I have experienced times of clarity and enjoyed the Sunshine and some laughter once again'

My Sincerest regards, Gail

As my friend Scott Bebee always say it is some old unresolved energy that has to be clear away. You are open to love and that is all! Only love is real and love solve it all.  Warm regards my friend.
