I really like your chosen perspective, the meandering road leads me right into the image, and the vehicle adds life and sense of the "drive through" whilst the glimpse of colourful autumnal foliage gives a good idea of the scenic drive. Very well done!

Hi Alf,

Thank you for your warm comment. It was getting dark rather quickly, and I had to act fast to find the right composition, focal length etc. I took a dozen or so of pictures and I am happy with this one. The main reason I picked this was the lone car in the image.

Wow - talk about a leading line! And the fall colors contrast nicely with the grey roadway. The reflections on the car roof make it pop nicely. This works well for me.

Like your take on almost the same scene.  You have composed it differently and I like your composition too. I did intentionally use a telephoto lens to pack as much road cureve as possible.

Hadi, I like the way you zoomed in to compress the scene. Thanks for pointing that out. Re the image I posted, the photo is not mine and I did not intend to give that impression. I tried to properly reference the website that it came from, but had trouble getting the text box to work after I pasted the image in. I am therefore posting proper attribution separately here.
