Mark, I saw that little speck of light and thought about it, and then thought some more, but for the time being I haven't removed anything; I might patch the hole in the future, because once it grabs your eye, it latches on.  I think the photo is straight.  the hills and the clouds angle down to the left, and even the grass is leaning to the left.  However, I think the building is pretty straight (roof line, window), although I haven't used a level tool to measure.

Stephen, this has the look of a building that has been picked up and tossed around by a tornado before being dropped to the ground. The sky is amazing, so dark and menacing. Excellent compositon and contrast and well placed in the frame. Nice work.

Best wishes,

Linda

Very well done! I think that even though both b/w and color versions are excellent, I prefer the b/w due to the mood it projects and the fact that the abandonment is even more pronounced. Truly looks as if it came out of the pages of the past. I like all the corner treatments you have applied to the image, but I think the lighter corners here do bring more attention to the house and to the sky which looks as if it is about to swallow it up. Great job! Thank you for sharing. :)

Hi Stephen ,

I am partial to the B n W one.  Beautiful sky there  and tones. I would only selective add a little more contrast to the barn. That would make it stand out.

Thanks for your constant encouragement

Fantastic Capture,

I prefer the B&W version, the clouds intensity and the grain of the wood, & the texture of the field all give it a fantastic quality.....

Bravo'
