Not really what I went out to shoot but a cloudy sunset with strong

winds and a time of year "sunset" miscalculating rendered the image

a wanted a none starter.

Anyway I kind of liked this composition it was processed in light room

and converted to sepia (antique) I added some vignetting and dabbled

with the exposure.

Comments very welcome good/bad especially about the processing

as these B&W images are something I'm just really trying.

Thanks

Rich.

Seven all the way Ricardo! Great mood, I can't explain with words what feeling it revokes to me! The kind of trees, the sun-setting look on the sky, the sepia tone well adjusted...good start at B&W my friend!

Best regards!

Great work on the B&W work; I especially like the toning and think it fits this scene very well.  I also like your composition -- there is a lot of interest in the framing trees and especially in the wispy forms of the center trees.

This image truly stand out Richard. I really like the mood you created with the sepia conversion and the vignetting.  Great composition.  Lovely work indeed. Regards - michel
