Wonderful photo, Martin. No doubt about that. Good capture of the flow of water, good composition, great colours. I don't think there's a lot to improve on, but I think an alternative composition where you include more of the wonderful autumnal colours of the forest in the background, might also work. It is, however, still a wonderful photo. Well done :-)

Beautiful photo with very good lighting, color, exposure on the water . my ony critique is I would like to have seen a few inches more on the top of the photo and a few inches less on the bottom. as my eye follows the river it seems like it gets cut off . Just my personal critique. Very good work overall. take care.

I would also like to have more on the top, however there was the sky and it just did not look good. I have some more pictures taken from top view and then the trees occupy more of the image but then the water is not so closed :)

As a general rule I don't care for water this blurred. This is an exception. It works well with the back ground .  Balancing each other
