This very young lady was being taught to sell local goods in Antigua by

her family who were sitting close by. The native people in Guatemala

don't ask for money but they do work hard to sell their work. This girl

was beautiful and when I said this to her she smiled and agreed. The

family was entertained by the conversation between us.

I am self-taught and any assistance would be wonderful. Thank you for

viewing my work.

nosotros.

Soy autodidacto y cualquier ayuda sería maravillosa. Gracias por ver

mi trabajo.

For my part I love candid portraits far more than studio portraits. I feel there is more truth in them. The truth and scene that you have captured here is wonderful as far as I am concerned. What this photo says and conveys is touching.

I love the photo.

However I don't like the post processing here. There may be many that do like it and honestly it is artistic but it distracts me from what this wonderful photo is otherwise trying to tell me.

A great photo but for me no need for post processing on this.

You were able to get a shot with a backstory....not always easy to do.

To me, the painterly effect detracts from the subject. This photo is interesting by itself and simple processing or none at all might have been better.
