Beautiful sunlit path in Kolob Canyon

pretty sweet shot-- i take a lot of similar shots around here in the fall (SW colorado where similarly a hail storm drove down green aspen leaves along with yellow) but i'd consider this one exceptional. i might just slightly brighten the foreground but that's optional.

I like the woods but the foreground/bottom is not all that interesting. I'd recommend composing/cropping the bottom and focusing more on the woods, or find some object or pattern in the foreground that will direct the eye upwards toward the woods. -kevin :)

I totally agree with the idea of needing to crop out some of the foreground. I think I will crop it to the patch of green grass in the middle of the path. Thank you for your comment.

I actually like the long intro into the sunlit area. Leads my eye into the image.

What you may like to consider is a slight crop off the left side, to remove that area of sky (top) to balance the image from left to right. And maybe just a touch of sharpening to give some "life" and definition to the leaves on the pathway.

I tried this in PSE....... but maybe this is not the "presence" you wish to convey.

 Lovely capture though.
