lynnthomas 0 Posted October 14, 2011 Could be my monitor but I see some pink color in the upper corners. The water looks very serene as does the rest...almost untouched by any activity. Very nice photo. Link to comment

robwilson 0 Posted October 14, 2011 Hi Denis, I love the composition and the toning is gorgeous. The only thing that disturbs me a little is that there seems to be a little bit a barrel-distortion in the image. The building curves a little. If you could adjust for that, then I think improve it even more. CheersRob Link to comment
sagacioustechie 0 Posted October 14, 2011 Denis, this is an incredibly tranquil scene with delicate toning and beautiful exposure. The photo is framed nicely by the two logs on either side and the geometry of the building interacts nicely with the shadows & lighting on either side.I'm a bit torn on the barrel effect that others have mentioned. It seems to both help and hurt the overall composition depending on how you approach the shot. As a purely aesthetic feature, I feel that it works nicely. From a realistic perspective however, it does create a sense of distortion that might detract from the quality for some. For me, however, it works. I congratulate you on this fine capture. Keep up the great work! Rated 6/7.Best regards,Stan Link to comment
