These can be a notoriously difficult subject to photograph, particularly in bright sunny conditions, but you have captured this really well. By concentrating a lot of the focus on the darker bud head of the flower, and with partial shade to the left it successfully accomplishes the essential retention of detail. Very well done!

Crisp and very colorful. Nice composition.

The use of the 55mm lens setting at F/5.6 provided the very good clarity and color development in this scene.

It is nice to see some people use their lens properly.
