Guest Guest Posted June 27, 2014 So simple and so incredibly rich with feeling. It grabs us as the child grabs on to Daddy. It feels so right in so many ways and there's a real authenticity in the sentiment it conveys. Sentimental without being cloying. A good deal of its effect, for me, lies in its being stark but also quite warm. Who hasn't been there and who wouldn't go there if we still could?! I find this a liberating photo in a lot of ways. We should all give ourselves permission to be this tender and sweet if we can do it with much candor and integrity and realism. Link to comment
