jenniferfraser 0 Posted October 5, 2011 This image caught my attention - first of all the massive wave is amazing....but also the clouds are interesting. The have some lovely light that adds nice balance to the white of the wave. Then you notice the sandy coloured water nearer to the shore.....nice. The dark contrast of the light house to everything else helps it to really stand out. I love it all! Perfect. Link to comment
sagacioustechie 0 Posted October 6, 2011 I absolutely love the power and drama you've captured in this shot Wobby. I felt that this shot could be pushed to be even more engaging with a few modifications so I played around with it on photoshop for a little bit. I rotated it just a bit to make the pier straighter, I also converted it to a contrasty B&W and I gave it a tight crop that really focuses on the lighthouse and its incredible contrast with the water. I'd really love to hear your thoughts on this adaptation. All the best,Stan. Link to comment
bob_belanger 1 Posted October 6, 2011 The original color version is awesome. It has power beyond belief and it brings a very high intensity level to the screen. Very nice. Link to comment
JulianBurke 0 Posted October 6, 2011 I am glad I was not in that tower never mid how well it was built. Great action, great contrast. Well done. Link to comment
jpk 7 Posted October 6, 2011 Really outstanding photo. Colour version much better fits my preferences, water wave looks much more dangerous, size disproportion between house and wave is more emphasized.Regards. Link to comment

stp 6 Posted October 8, 2011 Wobby, I have no idea why you just didn't run out along that jetty, climb the stairs, and get a really great view of an incoming wave. Such a perfect opportunity! Lots of power in this photo. I think the tighter crop provided by Stan emphasizes the power by eliminating nearly everything else. You've got a great photo of raw power. Link to comment
