richard_john_edwards 0 Posted October 7, 2011 You have extracted some wonderful tones from what would have been a fairly flat (lighting) scene, The composition is really good. Top Marks from me Link to comment
maurocarli 0 Posted October 7, 2011 I totally agree with Richard! I realize that the scene must have been truly flat in the reality, but the result is almost incredible. I like it a lot! Link to comment
cyanatic 0 Posted November 8, 2012 I was very much struck by the thumbnail of this. I find it very pleasing (that's a weak word I dislike using, but I can come up with no other substitute at the moment...) in terms of the tones, the leading lines, the balance and placement of elements. But especially by the very human aspect of this scene. This is no idyllic sylvan glade in a distant forest. It is a common enough power line "alley" that most of us have come across. But that flooded plain between the treelines, the lowering clouds, the power lines receding in the distance...I think of someone living nearby, passing this odd mixture of industrial banality and natural beauty and I find it somehow comforting. (Maybe I should have just left it as "Nice job!") Link to comment
