A thirteen year old English Pointer out with me for a portrait session in

the field. She's an elegant old gal, but still has the drive and the nose to

enjoy her time out looking for game.

This is my first change to use NIK's Color EFX Pro filters as plug-ins for

NX2. This used the Indian Summer and neutral white tools.

To me, the "yellow" background really adds interest and uniqueness.  Excellent job/choice.  I find the framing is perfect, along with the pose.

It's a picture that to me is one of my favorites, perfect in every way that I can see (perfect exposure, dof, pose, and editing).  Thank you for posting it.

You impressed me with this series, I wish my English been any better.

I like your control over the exposure here and also the details obtained, the colors are superb and the blurred back ground has helped to isolated this cure remarkably.

Thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

Matt, this is wonderful. I like the yellow background, Uma's pose, the composition, all excellent. I also like the light in her eye and her alert, focused expression.

Such a lovely dog. Excellent detail and colour. She has such a beautiufl face. I imagine it must be quite rewarding Photographing Dogs (Portraits). Us owners love our dear friends, and here you have 'imortalized' this 'Beauty' for them. The colour choices in the Software are very becoming to this composition. Warmest regards, Gail
