I can't believe this hasn't recieved a lot more attention!  The soft warm light is so gentle and serene as your title suggests and the stark silhouetted uprights accentuate this even more. I might have been tempted to clone out one or two of the less defined marks on the horizon, but that doesn't detract from my viewing pleasure and is easilly remedied if you have a desire to do so.  Beautifully done Lisa!

Best Regards

Thank you for your encouraging feed back on my photo ! I posted this photo on 3 different forums that I belong to..I posted a handful of other photos along with  this one. I shot all of these photos that are in my "Waterfront" gallery early this morning.. Maybe the  low traffic of viewers has something to do with the keywords I entered with each photo, or it being mid work week.. lol :)

Best Regards,

Lisa

Hi Lisa,

This is an outstanding shot.

You certainly have become well acquainted with your 85mm lens and your improved image captures speak highly of your skills.

Hi Mike

Thank you for you comments! I was awestruck when I saw this unusually pretty sunrise! As it turned out, I had very few minutes/chances  to get shots of the sun at this stage of being visible over the horizon.... The cloud seen in this image was constantly moving and covering the sun, lol.  I came to realize soon after I arrived at this place , that it was a popular one with fishermen and other photographers :)

Best Regards,

Lisa

Awesome, great contrasts of shapes, lines and textures (poles versus the clouds, the setting sun etc.). Very good balance among all image elements. Creative and aesthetic. Bravo.
