color 3 Posted September 18, 2011 This is a redo of a previous post. I have made the tree outside the window a little darker and increased the contrast in that area. Your comments? Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted September 19, 2011 Just simply lovely. - love the wide tonal range, the lines, the light and the exposure balance with the tree outside. I am sure you know that light colored object attracts the eyes and I am drawn to the bottom right side and I would prefer not to be drawn there from an aesthetics perspective despite the overall nature of the scene. Not sure if darkening that area will do the trick ........ going to download and play with it ........I have made some minor changes (lighten and darken) for you to review with absolutely no claim that mine is better. All the best Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted September 19, 2011 As Tony Hadley says, the tonal range is very impressive and personally I prefer your original version with the dark pooled in the corners at the edge of the frame; It contrasts beautifully with the lighter, almost magical image of the world reflected in the mirror which seems to hang suspended, floating above the rubble on the floor.
