You have very good results from so recently deciding to garden.  Photo is a very nice balance of colour.  Light seems very good.  A VG composition though I did wonder about the onion being so central, then decided it is fine.

Cheers

Jim

Thank you for commenting. The garden is a delicious surprise to us. As soon as the second crop of lettuce is ready you can all come for salad. Just let me know your dressing preference. Waxed paper was placed over the flash to achieve this lighting. Happy day, Deanna

Love those vibrant colours! The phrase "nice crop" takes on a whole new meaning with this image : - ) those Capiscums look mmmmmmm! and the arrangement has that natural "fresh from the garden" look. Nice work Deanna!

Best Regards

Alf

What a wonderful image - everything looks like it is as fresh as though they were picked a few minutes before you made this image. Time to eat them right now!

Did you try pointing the flash at the ceiling (white hopefully)  and bouncing the light onto this subject? I have no experience with this type of shot so my question is an ìdle`one.

Nice to hear from you. Shouldn't admit it but I had to look-up what capiscums are. They really are good. There is more to learn on p.n than photography. Thanks for commenting. Take care, Deanna

Most of it was picked shortly before shooting. It does taste as good as it looks. Wax paper over the flash was something I read about for people like me who have no auxilary light (another item on my wish list). It did give a nice sheen without washing out color. Thank you for commenting. Take care, Deanna
