A thirteenth century cathedral-monastery complex in the west of

Ireland. The remarkable tower was build as a refuge for the monks in

times of trouble. The only doorway can be seen about fifteen metres up

the tower. It felt very much as if I wandered into a set for The Lord

of the Rings.

Hi Bill,

I agree with Pierre, razor sharp.  Nice clouds and green in the front.  I only wonder why the tower is put exactly in the middle.  I think it would be an even stronger picture if the tower would be positioned more to the right.

Well done,

Ben

A fantastic capture and my hats off to all the Irishmen who helped in the construction of this Thirteenth Century monastery-cathedral, well done.
